Use the top area to apply zoom and pan the waveform.
- Use only one finger up/down to apply zoom, and left/right to translate the waveform.
Use the bottom area, (tap over the blue dotted line) to make a selection and modify the selection bounds.
- Single tap to deselect
- Double tap to select the whole waveform.
Shortcuts for the basic tools
Copy Copy the selected area to clipboard.
Cut Cut the selected area (to clipboard).
Paste Paste the clipboard content in current frame position (green line). If an area is selected the clipboard content will replace the selected area.
New Create a new file from the selected area.
Trim Delete all waveform outside the selected area.
Fade Open the FADING panel. Apply volume from 0 to 1 (or 1 to 0), to the selected area, or all waveform if there is no selection.
Mark Insert mark. Drag mark to bottom to delete it.
Normalize Increase volume to maximum without clipping.
Silence Mute selected area.
ZeroCross When enabled selections are snapped to zero-cross positions in the waveform. With stereo files can be imposible to find zero-cross points.
Audio files can be saved to a local folder inside Wavebox, the Local Audio Gallery, here you can manage your audio files
Gallery tools:
ADD LOCATION Pick a new location in your device or iCloud to show. Files don't be copyed to the local folder, they remains at its original location.
NEW FOLDER Creat a new empty folder, give it a custom name (name laso can be changed after folder creation)
TRASH Show the LOCAL trash folder, now deleted files are moved inside trash folder , after 15 days they are completely deleted.
There are three options to delete a file or folder:
Drag a file (or folder) over the TRASH button to delete it.
Drag a file (or folder) inside the TRASH folder to delete it.
Use the MORE/Delete action to delete the selected file.
ABC/DATE Sort files alphabetically or by date.
AUDIO/ALL FILES Show only audio files or all system files.
MORE Actions to be applied to selected audio file.
EDIT Open the selected file with the waveform editor.
Audio browser gives you fast acces to your audio files. 3 different location can be opened at the same time
Drag an audio file (or folder) into workspace to edit them.
INSERT/APPEND Now you can append audio files into existing ones by dropping it over the left or right highlighted areas.
